Job Summary
Drive specification and inclusion of Starken AAC products in architects’ and developers’ tender drawings and standard Bills of Quantities (BQ). Build relationships with architects, developers and quantity surveyors to secure product specs for projects and tenders.
Job Responsibilities
Proactively meet and build relationships with architects, developers, quantity surveyors and consulting engineers to promote Starken AAC product specifications.
Educate design teams on product benefits, performance data, installation methods and cost/benefit comparisons for inclusion in tender drawings and standard BQs.
Prepare, present and distribute specification packs, product datasheets, compliance documentation, test reports and typical details for CAD/DWG insertion.
Work with design teams to draft and review specification clauses and standard BQ items ensuring correct nomenclature, unit rates and measurement units.
Attend pre-bid meetings, design reviews and site visits to influence product selection and resolve technical queries.
Collaborate with internal teams (product, technical, marketing, sales) to develop specification content, sample requests and promotional materials for the design community.
Track and log specification wins, submissions, and feedback; follow up to convert specification into purchase orders where possible.
Monitor competitor specifications in tender documents and report market/industry trends.
Provide training sessions, CPD presentations or workshops for architects and QS teams to increase product awareness.
Maintain a contact database of specifiers and manage targeted campaigns to key firms.
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build lasting relationships
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
