[ Job Description🔐 ]
Initial Engagement and Planning:
🪓Conduct initial meetings with students and parents
🪓Guide students in course selection, including choosing APs, IBs, and other standardized tests
🪓Create standardized testing timelines for students
🪓Curate balanced college lists for students seeking to study in different fields
🪓Research and create a roadmap of requirements for each university and a timeline for applications
Application Process Support:
✨Assist students in filling out application portals
✨Guide students in the essay writing process
✨Assist students with enhancing their resumes and activity lists
✨Keep team and all relevant parties informed of student progress
Extracurricular and Enrichment Opportunities:
💡Research and inform students of extracurricular activities, internship opportunities, and enrichment opportunities both in and out of school
💡Encourage students to engage in community service and to read
💡Provide career exploration advice to students
💡Guide students on summer activities, including assisting in pre-college and summer session applications and strategy
Regular Monitoring and Updates:
🗣️Meet regularly with students and update student data on the online portal
🗣️Assist in external events, such as presentations, school visits, and seminars
Yêu cầu
[ Required Qualifications 🔐]
- Bachelor’s degree from a top US university
- Passion in working with adolescents and helping them develop their interests
- Deep understanding of the US and Taiwanese educational landscape
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
[ Preferred ✅]
- 2-3 years of experience working in admissions or higher education
- Fluency in Mandarin
