Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop new features and enhancements for the product with a focus on security, performance, and testing.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, UX Designers, and other stakeholders to deliver user-centric features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that aligns with modern web application best practices.
• Architect scalable and fault-tolerant systems that support product growth and stability.
• Continuously improve the product experience by identifying and addressing technical challenges and inefficiencies.
• Perform code reviews, share knowledge, and help uplift the overall codebase quality.
• Engage in a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and mentorship within the engineering team.
• Follow established development workflows and contribute to process improvements where necessary.
• Proactively deliver small features and improvements independently while seeking guidance when needed.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends, suggesting innovative solutions to optimize system performance and development efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in web service development with a strong record of delivering impactful projects.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Solid backend development skills using technologies such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, or similar languages.
• Proficiency in front-end development with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frameworks like React.
• Hands-on experience using Git for version control in a collaborative development environment.
• Demonstrated ability to design and build scalable, high-performance systems.
• Strong sense of ownership, curiosity, and a continuous learning mindset.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working effectively across teams.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain focus to drive projects to completion.
• Resilient work ethic with a proactive, problem-solving approach, even when facing challenges.
• Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• Positive attitude with a solution-driven and team-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in fast-paced, high-performance organizations, ideally within a tech startup.
• Passion for technology demonstrated through blogging, open-source contributions, or knowledge sharing.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience or understanding of e-Commerce platforms and related technologies (e.g., payment gateways, inventory management systems) is a plus.
