Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy or corporate advisory role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, other advisory roles, in a consumer technology area.
  • Experience with executive-level engagement as a business, operational, and strategic thought partner.
  • Experience in sales or marketing and digital, within structuring and implementing initiatives with sales teams.
  • Experience with operations planning and management.
  • Ability to lead complex operational and strategic initiatives, with increasing levels of responsibility and leadership.

About the job

The Go-to-Market Operations (GTM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

As an APAC Strategy Projects Lead, you will have the opportunity to work with regional leadership to identify, design and implement opportunities to drive business growth and continuous improvement. You will partner with several other GTM teams to deliver on the region's most important business priorities and enable our sales organization. You will have the opportunity to work on a breadth of topics in GTM and get exposure to several aspects of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Work with executive leadership to define, launch, and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Define project scope, key focus areas, analysis needed to uncover opportunities and drive stakeholder alignment and consensus to deliver business impact.
  • Work with cross functional stakeholders to deliver on project priorities, drive alignment and enable decision making.
  • Communicate findings to executive leadership in the shape of executive-ready presentations and thoughtful facilitation of strategy topics across functional teams.
