Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in product quality development or manufacturing engineering, working with mobile or consumer electronics products.
- 2 years of experience as a Product Quality Engineer or in a similar role.
- Experience in consumer electronics and phone development, and shipping products.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Applied Chemistry Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in overseeing yield improvements and cycle time reductions for high-volume parts.
- Experience in preventing quality loss in the early stage of manufacturing, implementing quality escalation processes, and on-going product improvement with partners.

Responsibilities
- Apply Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) fundamentals and collaborate with teams to help them understand and apply RCCA tools and principles and analyze failure to resolve issues.
- Define and execute data collection activities for technical issues.
- Drive process design, optimization, and qualification activities of a manufacturing process for a component, part or product.
- Drive design of experiments and collect statistical process control data to enable evaluation, qualification and verification, and manufacturing quality across manufactures and product lines.
- Manage and address factory quality issue escalation, Failure Analysis (FA), Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) from First Article Inspection (FAI), Outgoing Quality Control (OQC), and On-Going Reliability (ORT), yield fallouts, customer complaints, and field failures, during New Product Introduction (NPI) phases.
