About GoFreight
GoFreight is a B2B SaaS platform for freight forwarders, serving customers from SMBs to global enterprises. We are changing how software gets built: people across the company work with AI agents to go from idea to working product. Most of the engineering, from writing code to running tests, happens through AI. Engineers make sure the output is solid before it ships.
The Role
You will be on the team that builds and improves these AI agents. Your job is to make them more capable, more reliable, and more autonomous, so that more people can turn ideas into production software without writing code themselves. The things you build will directly shape how the entire company ships software.
What You'll Do
Build and improve the AI agents that power our development workflow. These agents write code, run tests, do code reviews, and fix issues. Your job is to make them better at all of it.Own your projects end-to-end: figure out what to build, build it, evaluate whether it works, ship it.Work directly with the people who use these agents. Understand where they break down, where they are slow, and where they could do more. Then go fix it.Make agents smarter over time. Measure what matters, find the patterns, and improve the system.Stay current with what is happening in AI tooling. New models, new tools, new protocols show up constantly. Try them. If something works better than what we have, bring it in.Write things down. Good documentation means the next person can pick up where you left off.
Why This Role
Most AI engineering roles today still mean fine-tuning models or wiring up RAG pipelines. This is different. You will build agents that do actual software engineering work inside a production SaaS product. Your agents will ship features used by freight forwarders worldwide. The AI tooling space is moving fast, and you will be right in the middle of it.
