The Manufacturing Operations team is responsible for providing the manufacturing capability to deliver this state-of-the-art physical infrastructure. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you evaluate the product designs and create the processes, tools and procedures behind Google’s powerful search technology. When vendors build parts for our infrastructure, you’re right there alongside ensuring manufacturing processes are repeatable and controlled. You collaborate with Commodity Managers and Design Engineers to determine Google’s infrastructure needs and product specifications. Your work ensures the various pieces of Google’s infrastructure fit together perfectly and keep our systems humming along smoothly for a seamless user experience. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering requirements and implementing the systems and processes required for Google’s manufacturing test and quality teams. You will support the development of Google’s standard test executive platform, data collection systems, and product specific software development around shop floor system integration, product specific provisioning and configuration systems, and partner integration. You will rovide mission-critical tooling to facilitate the test and manufacture of hardware within Google's Data Centers. Our core solutions support the test execution via OpenTest, data ingestion through RADIX into BigQuery and Spanner, and intelligent sampling through Adaptive Test deployment. Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior Supply Chain Manager to own and be accountable for end-to-end supply chain operations, including strategic sourcing, supplier management, tooling execution, and cost optimization. This role serves as the single point of ownership for supply continuity, cost control, and on-time support for NPI and mass production in a global manufacturing environment.
