Job Overview
We’re seeking a passionate Senior Frontend Engineer to design and develop engaging, performant, and scalable user interfaces for our decentralized lending platform. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our trading and analytics experiences, making DeFi intuitive and seamless for our users.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and improve user-facing applications for the Yei Finance platform, including trading, lending, and analytics interfaces.
- Build and implement new features focusing on performance, accessibility, and scalability.
- Decide when to create reusable abstractions and when to implement custom solutions, ensuring maintainability and long-term success.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver an exceptional user experience.
- Push the boundaries of decentralized user interfaces, leveraging IPFS/ENS, The Graph, and Ethereum nodes to create resilient and distributed applications.
- Contribute to the product roadmap by proposing new features, sharing design ideas, and prioritizing tasks alongside the team.

- Frontend: TypeScript, React, styled-components
- Web3: ethers.js, Hardhat, Solidity, IPFS, The Graph, ENS
- Testing: Jest, Cypress, React Testing Library
- Analytics: Dune Analytics, Google Analytics
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience building client-side web applications.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in frontend technologies such as React, TypeScript, CSS, and state management libraries like Redux, Recoil, or Jotai.
- Code Quality: Strong understanding of architecture, code quality, and best practices, with the ability to review and guide the team.
- Problem-Solving: Exceptional debugging and problem-solving abilities.
- Team Player: Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Self-Driven: A proactive approach to ownership and a passion for continuous learning, particularly in blockchain and decentralized technologies.
