Deskripsi Pekerjaan

  • Oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Oversee data flow and the process between accounting systems cum sub-systems.
  • Prepare budgeting reports and forecast revenues.
  • Monitor the daily performance of the accounting department.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing.
  • Track the progress of financial and accounting objectives.
  • Develop global engineering forecasts and budgets.
  • Assist in making key business decisions by providing special analysis.
  • Assist chiefs in understanding their financial results.
  • Calculate and approve VAT, Profit, and local tax payments.
  • Accurately preparing tax returns and ensuring that company taxes are paid in a timely manner.
  • Monthly contacts with Tax Authorities responsible for reconciliation of tax balances with tax offices.
  • Participate in regular tax audits.
  • Develop accounting practices for the general ledger for office use.
  • Recommend improvement to general accounting activities so as to ensure compliance with governmental and organizational procedures and policies, and also ensure the most efficient and effective operations.
  • Establish accounting policies and procedures, aligned with the company’s targets.
  • Implement automation and process improvements to reduce redundancy.
  • Ensure compliance with the law.
  • Administer personnel-related functions and direct the work of general accountants.
  • In charge of supervising accounting professionals.
  • Train and supervise other accounting staff.

Persyaratan

  • At least 2 years of experience in Account Receivable, Account Payable, or a relevant role.
  • Holds at least a bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must have basic technical and computer skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software.
  • Great analytical skills.
  • Fluent in verbal and written English.
  • Preferably has experience in the waste management industry.
