Community Engagement Officer

You will play a crucial role in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the community as part of a campaign. Community Engagement Officer will be responsible for developing and executing a community engagement strategy to increase visibility and support for the campaign.

You can expect to:

• Publicize contents update about the campaign and endorsements to social media platforms, such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
• Engage with followers by responding to comments, direct messages, and Q&A sessions.
• Build a sense of community, and sharing content that highlights the campaign’s values and goals.
• Organize people by encouraging supporters to share information with their community.
• Report and analyze the social media engagement performance by monitoring online conversations and analytics, so we can adapting with campaign strategy accordingly.

Specific to this role:

• Have minimum a year of experience in Digital Community Engagement
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Have excellent writing skill
• Experience in community engagement, grassroots organizing, or political campaigning
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Passion for community engagement
• Familiarity with the local political landscape and community groups is a plus
