Mô tả công việc

To support the implementation of MSF Taiwan’s health promotion and community engagement (HPCE) activities, including health promotion campaigns and capacity-building initiatives, with the aim of improving migrant workers’ access to health information and strengthening their capacity to respond to health risks and emergencies.

  • Internship Duration: 1 May 2026 – 31 December 2026
  • Working hours: approximately 15–20 hours per week

Major Responsibilities

  • Develop understanding of MSF’s global medical humanitarian action and proactively share key learnings and relevant topics with the team
  • Assist in planning and implementing health promotion activities and trainings (e.g. health talks, first aid training), ensuring smooth execution
  • Support the development and adaptation of culturally appropriate health promotion materials (Indonesian/Tagalog) to improve accessibility and understanding among migrant worker communities
  • Support the development of health promotion content and information dissemination (online and offline), ensuring health and emergency-related information is effectively delivered and accessible
  • Participate in engagement with migrant worker communities and collaborate on activities, to enhance community participation and maintain partnerships with local stakeholders
  • Support needs assessment research; including surveys, focus group discussions, data organization, and analysis
  • Participate in team learning and knowledge sharing to strengthen practical skills in health promotion and humanitarian work

  • 合約期間:2026年5月1日至2026年12月31日

  • 了解無國界醫生全球人道醫療行動,並主動分享相關主題與學習成果
  • 協助規劃與執行健康促進活動與培訓(如健康講座、急救訓練),確保活動順利進行
  • 協助製作與調整符合社群文化脈絡的健康促進素材(印尼語/他加祿語),提升移工社群對健康資訊的理解與可近性
  • 協助健康促進內容製作與資訊傳遞(實體及線上),讓健康及緊急應變資訊能被有效散播及取得
  • 參與移工社群連結與活動合作,促進社區參與工作維持網絡夥伴合作關係
  • 支持需求評估;協助進行問卷調查、焦點團體、資料整理與分析
  • 參與團隊學習與知識分享,提升健康促進與人道工作的實務能力

Yêu cầu

Requirements

  • Background in Public Health, Health Promotion, Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, or related fields preferred
  • Strong interest in health promotion, community work, or humanitarian issues
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse communities
  • Basic data organization and analytical skills, with attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Fluency in Indonesian or Tagalog is an advantage; Mandarin or English is required
  • Availability to work on weekends and travel when required
  • Strong commitment to the mission and values of MSF

Nice to have

  • Experience working with migrant worker communities
  • Experience in health promotion or community engagement
  • Experience in research or data analysis

▌ 無國界醫生在台灣

無國界醫生台灣辦公室專注於以下任務:
1) 積極與台灣公眾和公民社會接觸,就全球人道危機和衛生緊急情況進行宣傳、支持和倡導;
2) 招募台灣的醫療和非醫療人員,派遣至現場項目工作;
3) 從台灣捐助者籌款,直接支持無國界醫生的社會使命和醫療人道活動;
4) 與台灣社會和公益組織互動交流;
5) 在台灣舉辦移工健康促進活動,協助移工提升自我照護和緊急應變力。

    ▌ An international, independent medical humanitarian organization

    Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) translates to Doctors without Borders. We provide medical assistance to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters, or exclusion from healthcare. Our teams are made up of tens of thousands of health professionals, logistic and administrative staff - bound together by our charter. Our actions are guided by medical ethics and the principles of impartiality, independence and neutrality. We are a non-profit, self-governed, member-based organisation.

    MSF was founded in 1971 in Paris by a group of journalists and doctors. Today, we are a worldwide movement of nearly 68,000 people.

    ▌ MSF in Taiwan

    MSF opened a representative office in Taipei in 2016 and became a Foundation in 2019.

    MSF Taiwan office focuses on 3 key pillars:
    1) Active engagement with Taiwanese public and civil society on global humanitarian crises and health emergency for awareness, support and advocacy purposes;
    2) Recruitment of skilled Taiwanese medical and non-medical staff to dispatch to field project;
    3) Fundraising from Taiwanese donors to directly supports MSF Social mission and medical humanitarian activities.
    4) Engage and collaborate with Taiwanese society and non-profit organizations.
    5) Organize health promotion activities for migrant workers in Taiwan to enhance their self-care and emergency response capacity.
