【Position】 【LIGHT SEEKER Intern】AI Green Design Carbon Intelligence R&D engineer_Optoelectronics Product Solution
【Location】 New Taipei City Zhonghe
【Project Name】 Green Design Carbon Intelligence AI Project — Building material carbon intelligence capabilities, integrating AI to create a green design mindset, becoming an intelligent engine driving green product innovation.
【Department Introduction】
The QM Division for the OPS is responsible for ensuring that the company's products, as well as the functional units within the QRA department, provide quality assurance throughout the entire lifecycle of each new product from development to mass production, meeting the customer's quality expectations and requirements

【Goal】
1. Establish OPS full-material carbon coefficient information
2. Create a material carbon coefficient and specification knowledge base to improve the process of querying specification and carbon coefficient related information
3. Enhance design, development, and technical capabilities to achieve green energy design

【Project Content】
1. Data Inventory and Standardization：
Take inventory of OPS product BOMs and key material information, and establish unit and measurement rules.

2. Standards and Regulations Knowledge Base Construction：
Import international standards/regulations related to OPS as well as summaries of regulatory trends, in searchable fragments.

3. BOM Quick Carbon Estimation Engine：
Based on BOMs, supplement with process energy consumption (electricity usage and yield), and add rough estimate fields for transportation and packaging.

4. Green Design Recommendation Engine：
Provide RD/PM design suggestions based on rule and case libraries.

5. AI Agent：
Copilot or other AI tools to manage database sources, supporting natural language Q&A.

【Milestone】
W1 - Problem definition and data inventory;
W2 - Prototype (specification query & carbon coefficient query);
W3 - BOM quick estimation engine (simplified version);
W4 - Green design rule database;
W5 - Performance and experience adjustments;

【Deliverables】
1. Establish an AI agent to support OPS product/material carbon factor and international standard inquiries, providing source references and confidence scores.
2. Build an EF (Emission Factor) and standards knowledge base to complete rapid carbon estimation for BOMs and provide a list of green design recommendations.
