[Music] Senior Network Engineer

KKBOX is one of the leading music streaming platforms in Asia, serving millions of users across multiple regions. The platform handles large-scale traffic and concurrent streaming workloads.

Our infrastructure spans both on-premise data centers and cloud environments, leveraging global CDN networks and multi-region architecture to deliver highly available and high-performance services.

The network infrastructure must support high concurrency, cross-region traffic routing, and highly reliable service operations.

Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain the KKBOX network infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of production systems.
• Manage backbone network infrastructure, including firewalls, load balancers, routing, and hybrid connectivity.
• Monitor network environments and related services, analyze anomalies, and lead troubleshooting for network-related incidents.
• Lead incident response and root cause analysis for major network outages or performance issues.
• Design and implement network architecture optimization to improve system scalability and stability.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve infrastructure and service architecture.
• Participate in infrastructure planning, including hybrid cloud networking, traffic routing, and overall architecture optimization.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in network engineering or infrastructure operations.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals and routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise network devices such as Cisco Catalyst/Nexus switches, Juniper EX switches, F5 LTM, or Palo Alto firewalls.
• Experience with S2S VPN, routing policies, and enterprise network architecture design or operations.
• Experience with Linux/Unix systems and infrastructure operations.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Kubernetes networking, container networking, or EKS environments.
• Experience with CDN traffic routing or large-scale internet platforms (e.g., streaming or high-traffic services).
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS / GCP / Azure) and hybrid infrastructure environments.
