[Bosch] R&D Senior Staff PCB Layout Development Engineer

Collaborate closely with design teams to resolve packaging, manufacturing or electrical design issues of a high complexity design.
Liaise with counterparts in HQ in creation of component library and PCB footprint.
Creation and maintenance of PCB layout documentation for manufacturing application.
Creation of Gerber files for PCB fabrication.
Contact PCB manufacturing factory and order prototype PCB for engineering sample production.
Estimate and provide development effort required for PCB layout design including man-hour, duration, prototype PCB cost for project acquisition.
Provide training on PCB layout design using various technologies in car-infotainment devices or modules application.
Overseeing a team of PCB layouter in layout design of electronic product is in compliance with PCB layout rules and guidelines.
Plan and assign PCB layout resources to development and series care projects.
Motivate and lead a team of PCB layouters in layout design of car-infotainment devices or modules in compliance with legal regulations, safety standards and norms.
Provide guidance, advice and mentoring on norms and standards established in automotive industry internally and externally. Eg. CDQ, TS16949, ISO26262.
Lead a team towards achievement of section goals, aligned with company goals and targets.
Plan and coordinates continuous improvement process activities to enhance and strengthen team.
Participate in technical forum, exhibition to regularly keep up-to-date in latest technological development of electronics devices.
Any other duties as assigned from time to time to accomplish related results as needed.

Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
Minimum 10-15 year working of experience in related field
Good experience in PCB layout application with EDA design tools: Zuken, Cadence.
Good knowledge in product engineering and problem solving tools (Change Processes, BES-PE, FMEA, DFMA, QFD, 8D, 6-Sigma).
Ability to write programming script using Perl.
Knowledge in high speed PCB design, PCB stack-up and technology is an added advantage.
Has good proficiency in technical report writing and presentation skills.
Proficient in additional language such as Mandarin would be advantages.
