Software Testing Engineer - Functional Testing

We are looking for a Software Testing Engineer in Functional Testing in Taipei.

Being a key member of the team, you will be working on Functional Testing and contribute your expertise to make positive impact. As a Functional Testing professional, you’ll fulfill a Tester role to rationalize Agile Methodology in the development team, partnering with multiple functional roles/teams to ensure delivery.

Responsibilities

• Understand project test plan and test strategy, testing process
• Design test cases, participate in test case review and execution, report defects and perform root cause analysis
• Plan own tasks according to project schedule, follow the testing process and perform testing tasks
• Fulfill QA role and ensure components or subsystems quality
• Work independently while in close collaboration with others in the team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related disciplines
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Software Testing
• Proven skills in test case design and execution, workload estimation, defect hunting and root cause analysis, able to create good quality of test cases, defects, analysis and reports
• Experience in different levels and types of testing, including Functional testing, Integration testing, SIT, UAT, etc., understanding of non-functional testing
• Knowledge of Software Quality Control process and SDLC, being able to follow a defined Software Quality Control process
• Intermediate level (CEFR B1) or higher of spoken and written English
