Data engineering forms the foundation to ensure that precious data is being properly stored and curated so that value can be derived from them.# Roles and Responsibilities The Data Infra and Ops team, which is part of the data engineering team, is responsible for architecting the Group’s data infrastructure that underlie all our data pipelines and machine learning solutions. The teams’ mission is to achieve maximum efficiency and stability of the entire data infrastructure, and that data is only accessed by those who are authorised to do so.As a Lead Data Engineer (Data Infra & Ops), you will work with and lead other data engineers to develop our data infrastructure, and create processes to facilitate the smooth operation of our data pipelines. You will work with the team to ensure that accurate data is available in a timely manner for management to make informed decisions, operational teams to track their metrics, and data scientists to create and run machine learning models. The responsibilities for this role include:Create and maintain infra for ETL pipelines, data warehouse, business intelligence reporting and ML model deploymentsCreate active and passive monitoring for data infrastructure (alerts, usage dashboards, etc)Develop, maintain and optimise processes for ensuring smooth data engineering operationsResearch into data engineering best practices and make continual improvements to Fazz’s data infrastructure and processes

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible to manage our on-prem and cloud-based infrastructure platform to support application workloads and system services for the entire company. You would be using various automation tools to manage the physical and virtualized servers that we have and serve as a subject matter expert for Kubernetes, Networking, OS, and virtualization technologies.Responsibilities Deploying, automating, maintaining, and managing various cloud-based and on-prem production systemAbility to lead and manage a team of experienced engineers to achieve targets and deliverables from stakeholders. This includes roadmap prioritization and task definition writing.Understanding the high-level overview of our architecture, and possessing the ability to systematically document new and existing requirements to ensure a smooth project delivery without miscommunication.Work closely with the Information security and infrastructure team in ensuring that we are adopting security best practices.Ensuring the availability, performance, scalability, and security of productions systemsSystem troubleshooting and problem-solving across platform and application domainsSuggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvementsEvaluate new technology options to improve your infrastructure stack.Ensuring system security policies are properly remediated.Drive and implement auto-provisioning and scaling of servers, testing, and compliance checks using automation toolsHandle operational day-to-day tasks like being on-call, handling alert and incident
