App Lead (Investment Platform)

We are seeking an experienced App Lead to drive the development of our investment application. In this role, you will take ownership of the overall product experience—from backend systems to app functionality—ensuring reliability, scalability, and user impact. You’ll collaborate across engineering, product, and business teams to deliver a platform that empowers investors with seamless trading and portfolio tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of the app’s overall architecture (backend, APIs, and integrations).

• Oversee development of user-facing features such as strategy execution, rebalancing, and reporting.

• Integrate with broker-dealer APIs (e.g., Interactive Brokers) to enable order execution and portfolio management.

• Guide the development of trading logic, performance tracking, and allocation workflows.

• Ensure system reliability, security, and scalability while aligning with business goals.

• Collaborate with product and design teams to shape the user experience.

• Mentor and guide engineers working on the platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in app or platform development (Python, Golang, or similar).

• Strong database and API design background.

• Familiarity with brokerage/trading APIs and financial systems.

• Solid understanding of trading, equities, and portfolio concepts.

• Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS/GCP/Azure).

• Proven leadership in building and scaling products.

Preferred

• Background in fintech, trading platforms, or wealth apps.

• Knowledge of quantitative strategies and risk management.

• Experience driving product direction alongside technical leadership.
