Job description:

  1. Daily accountings tasks (30%)
  • Issue VAT invoices
  • Checking payment from clients
  • Process payments in OA system to suppliers, employee’s reimbursement checking. Working closely with banks.
  • Manage the contract master file and physical storage.
  • Supporting on another ad-hoc
  1. Accounting Books (30%)
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records with supporting documents.
  • Reviewing AP, AR and other entries to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances.
  • Account reconciliations, GL posting, reporting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
  • Monthly reconciliation sales tax calculations and PnL reporting.
  • Maintain financial system (accounts receivable, and general ledger and others).
  • Manage the processing of cash receipts, recording of revenue and receivables and work closely with other teams to ensure that revenues and receivables in system are recorded timely and accurately.
  • Perform the processing of expense allocations, monthly accruals, amortization of prepaid expenses, fixed assets depreciation and recording of adjusting and reclassification journal entries.
  1. Prepare financial statements (15%)
  • Compile and analyze financial data from the accounting books to prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Maintaining proper documentation and support for financial records.
  • Enhance financial reporting capabilities to provide timely and accurate financial information per manager's request.
  • Support mapping the local accounting books to Group Accounting software.

  • Follow up the month-end closing.
  1. Tax and Audit (15%)
  • Prepare tax reports (VAT, WHT, CIT, PIT…) and other regulatory statistics reports.
  • Responsible for tax declaration form submission and payment.
  • Working with Tax authorities and auditors.
  1. Supporting managers on other tasks as required (10%)
  • Collect information for business report.
  • Supporting internal control processes.
  • Other tasks as required.

Requirements

Requirement:

  • Strong accounting background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, ACCA/CPA certificate is an advantage.
  • Comprehensive knowledge in accounting and tax, at least 2-3 years of working experience in accounting or auditing, preferably in advertising and marketing agencies.
  • Strong analytical skills and organizational skills.
  • Experience with accounting software, strong computer skills (Microsoft Office).
  • Strong written and spoken English language skills. Good at Chinese is an advantage.
  • Hard-working, integrity, Self-responsibility.
  • Able to work under pressure.
