Job Description

This position typically relates to areas in Indirect purchasing, spending management and analysis, reporting to support of various operational applications such as site indirect procurement /Operating Models

• Provides moderately complex administrative and/or operation support to relieve department managers or staff of administrative details

• Ensure site operational Capex and Opex spending on budget . Gathers and consolidates detailed information so that departments can better understand measures of financial performance. Activities may include validation of expenses, account coding, capital, and expense recovery

• Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand operation goals

• Analyzes records of past and present operations, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenue, etc. for strategy decision

• Work with the Finance and business team to analyze operational results. Tracks performance according to plan and investigates variances

• Responsible for implementing process improvements and ensuring the quality of all data. Shares the accountability for closing the gaps and is measured on the same customer and operational metrics as the affected areas.

• Ensure the report submission as per the stipulated timeline; Ensure the monthly report accuracy & integrity.

• Accomplish the job assignment from the manager.

Requirements

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:

• Good knowledge of an electronics manufacturing environment, material and processes.

• Good knowledge of SAP purchasing requisition creation.

• Good financial and analytical skills.

• Good knowledge of computer applications such as WORD, Excel, PowerPoint and multiple business applications.

• Ability to identify and resolve complexity process/system problems using financial, analytical, and/or statistical models.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy and working under tight time deadlines.

• Ability to evaluate, prioritize and problem solve a variety of tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion.

• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers.


Physical Demands:

• Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.

• Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.

• Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.

• Occasional travel may be required

Typical Experience:

• Above five years of relevant experience from purchasing

Typical Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Educational requirements may vary by geography
