Tooling Software Engineer (Python/Bluetooth Debug)

Duties:

This role focuses on supporting and improving tools that track bug reports and help identify issues in Bluetooth products. You will work on debugging log-related failures, enhancing the reliability and usability of internal tools, and extending Python-based infrastructure to better support the development and testing efforts of engineering teams. The position offers hands-on experience with both troubleshooting and building automation solutions that improve workflow efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Investigate logs and debug tool failures affecting system reliability.

• Improve tools that parse and reattach data to bug reports for better traceability.

• Triage Bluetooth-related tooling issues and collaborate across teams.

• Build and maintain Python scripts and frameworks to improve automation and monitoring.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python scripting and framework development.

• Experience working in a large-scale tech environment (e.g., Google or equivalent).

• Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot internal tools.

Preferred:

• Experience with Bluetooth stack debugging or bug triage pipelines.

• Background in log analysis or diagnostic tooling development.
