INTRODUCTION

Cake Recruitment Company is a leading recruitment firm based in Taiwan that has over 8 years of experience in the industry. We are partnering with The Cocoa Project (website), a Vietnam-based coffee and chocolate bar brand delivering high-quality culinary and chocolate experiences. The company is launching the new Coffee Bar Rooftop based in HCM center and seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead kitchen operations, menu innovation, and culinary team development.

OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a creative and hands-on Head Chef to lead the kitchen team and elevate The Cocoa Project’s food experience. You’ll oversee all culinary operations — from menu development and food quality to team leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Main dishes: finger food suitable for coffee and bar rooftop.

• Lead kitchen operations, ensuring all dishes meet our quality and presentation standards.

• Manage inventory, suppliers, and cost control efficiently.

• Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen discipline.

• Train, guide, and inspire kitchen staff to deliver their best work every day.

• Work closely with management to launch seasonal menus, tasting events, and special collaborations.

• Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements for better consistency and workflow.

QUALIFICATIONS

• English proficiency required to work with R&D and Founder.

• 2-3 years of professional culinary experience, preferably in bar.

• Experience in desserts or pastry is a big plus.

• Proven leadership and team-management skills.

• Detail-oriented, creative, and passionate about food and flavor.

• Comfortable working in a dynamic, high-quality café/restaurant environment.
