Senior Backend Developer (Cloud Platform)

Job Summary:

At Botrista, we are redefining the future of automation in the food and beverage industry. CloudBar serves as the "cloud brain" and enterprise hub for our fully automated beverage robot, the BotristaPro. It is responsible for global remote configuration and diagnostics, while also serving as a core Integration Hub for data exchange with enterprise-grade applications such as NetSuite and Salesforce. 

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer who possesses a solid foundation in Computer Science, the agility to leverage AI tools, an architectural mindset, and strong product intuition. We believe that AI will fundamentally transform engineering efficiency and organizational structures. At Botrista:

Responsibilities:

• Requirement Definition & Translation: Interface directly with overseas Business and Operations teams to proactively identify pain points. Transform vague requirements into precise, forward-looking backend architectures.
• IoT Cloud Architecture Design: Optimize data communication logic between the cloud and BotristaPro hardware to achieve precise remote configuration, real-time diagnostics, and large-scale data collection.
• Enterprise Integration Hub: Develop and maintain CloudBar as a hub for enterprise applications, automating order flows to NetSuite (SO automation) and deeply integrating with systems like PIM, SPM, and Salesforce.
• Full Lifecycle Ownership: Take full responsibility for product functionality and stability—from understanding requirements and architectural design to AI-assisted development and system deployment.

Requirements:

• Solid CS Foundation: Degree in Computer Science (CS) or a related field. Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD), data structures, algorithms, operating systems, network protocols, and database principles.
• Language Agnostic:
  • Practical experience in Node.js development to maintain and optimize the existing CloudBar syste
  • Proficiency in Python or other backend languages is a plus. We believe languages and frameworks are tools; the logic for solving problems is the core.
• AI Collaboration & Product Mindset:
  • Adept at using AI Coding Tools to accelerate workflows, with the judgment to review AI output for security and accuracy.
  • Fearless Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to proactively inquire, organize, and refine business requirements.
• Intellectual Curiosity: Passionate about researching and tackling cross-disciplinary knowledge (e.g., hardware communication, supply chain logic, AI model integration) with strong independent problem-solving skills.
• Technical Communication: Proficiency in reading and writing English technical documentation. Basic verbal communication skills (ability to answer technical questions) to understand feedback from overseas business teams and engage in effective technical discussions.

Preferred Requirements:

• AI/ML Practical Experience: Foundational experience in Machine Learning (ML) or Deep Learning (DL), with exposure to frameworks like PyTorch for research or application.
• AI Application Engineering: Keen interest in harnessing AI Coding Agents and Context Engineering to optimize AI's understanding of business logic and development collaboration.
• Enterprise Software Integration: Hands-on experience integrating with ERP/CRM APIs such as NetSuite, Salesforce, or SAP.
• Architectural Depth: Familiarity with Microservices, distributed systems, or high-concurrency IoT processing.
