[Bosch R&D - Internship] Testing and Validation Engineer Intern

Bosch first started in Vietnam with a representative office in 1994. Bosch has its main office in Ho Chi Minh City, with branch offices in Hanoi and Da Nang, and a Powertrain Solutions plant in the Dong Nai province to manufacture pushbelt for continuously variable transmissions (CVT) in automobiles. In addition, Bosch operates a software and engineering R&D center (Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions Vietnam Co., Ltd).

In July 2014, Bosch set up a new Automotive R&D Center, located in Ho Chi Minh City. The continuous growth of this Centre is in line with Bosch’s strategy in Vietnam, which aims at becoming a manufacturing and R&D hub in the Southeast Asian region. Currently four products are available: connectors, pushbelt, fuel supply, and diagnosis module (tank leakage).

Job Description

• The intern for this position will work in the laboratory and testing area of the Components and Connector Engineering Department – Bosch Automotive R&D Center Vietnam – HCMC

• Assist Senior Testing Engineer in different components development project.
• Prepare test samples and carry out different validation test (Mechanical Force Testing, Electrical testing, Sealing ability Testing, Durability testing …) in different development projects under supervision of Test Engineers.
• Understanding and operate different analytical equipment.
• Discuss test method and report test result to different stakeholder. (Designers, Test Engineers, Technical Project Leaders)
• Design Jig/fixtures for different tests.
• Communicating with engineers about testing request requirements.

Qualifications

• 3rd or Final year student majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or any relevant fields.
• Highly proficient in all 4 English skills
• Analytical and proactive mindset, open-minded working with a high sense of responsibility.
• Quality-oriented and attention to details with a great willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills in English and Vietnamese and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Hands-on and practical approach to development and problem-solving.
