Product Designer

Role Description

BioTuring is seeking a passionate and talented Product Designer to join our growing team, and leading the design of our bioinformatics platform, creating intuitive interfaces for complex scientific data.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design process for all features and functionalities within the BioTuring platform and ecosystem.
• Develop high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and user interface (UI) design elements.
• Create and maintain detailed flowcharts and user journey maps to document design decisions and user interactions.
• Manage project timelines and milestones effectively to ensure on-time product releases.
• Champion user research and advocate for a data-driven design approach.
• Participate in product strategy discussions and provide design expertise.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design.

• 3+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on complex platforms, enterprise software, or visual product development.
• A plus is a background in Biology or a related field to understand the scientific context of our platform.
• Strong understanding of design principles, including user experience (UX) research, interaction design, and visual design.
• Proven ability to create user-centered designs that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional.
