Applied Materials is looking for a skilled Process Support Engineer to join our Advanced Packaging Technology team. You will provide hands-on support for semiconductor process technologies, focusing on one of the following areas: PVD, Plasma Etch, CMP, or CVD.In this role, you’ll work closely with internal RD and customer fabs to optimize equipment performance and resolve process issues. You’ll contribute to technology evaluations, first-in-fab demos, and process improvements for high-volume manufacturing.This is a technical, non-managerial position reporting to the Process Support Manager. Prior experience in advanced packaging is helpful but not required—we value deep expertise in your process domain and a strong drive to innovate.

■ Key Responsibilities :1. Performs standard Tier I procedures including wafer measurement.2. Performs preventative maintenance (PM預防性維護) and wet cleans independently. Assists senior engineers with corrective maintenance as needed.3. Disassembles, cleans and rebuilds kits as part of kit management quality.4. Learns and applies diagnostic techniques and use of documentation and test equipment with assistance from senior engineers.5. Able to diagnose and resolve basic technical problems.6. Strives to perform BKM’s. Uses knowledge management systems. Follows all IP guidelines.7. Has the ability to represent Applied Materials to the customer. Uses good customer service skills at all times while maintaining a professional demeanor. Displays respect for the customer by maintaining a neat and orderly work area. Demonstrates a positive attitude in less than optimal customer situations.8. Complies with all safety procedures and consistently demonstrates safety as a value.
