ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Coordinate and work on month-end and year-end closing activities

- Reconcile subledgers and general ledger accounts

- Prepare accounting schedules

- Ensure financial records in compliance with TW and US GAAP

- Prepare local tax computation

- Assist in preparing and monitoring forecast and budget expenses

- Work with external and internal auditors for statutory and SOX audits

- Participate in system verification test for new or modified accounting systems

- Performing other ad hoc accounting duties as required or assigned

SKILLS:

- Working knowledge of TW tax rules and TW and US GAAP

- Effective communication skills, both written and oral in English

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel.

- Hands on experience with ERP system, particularly Oracle & SAP

- Ability to work with little supervision.

3+ years solid experience in accounting field, preferably in MNC
