Senior Thermal FAE - Liquid Cooling Solutions

Role Summary: 

We are seeking a high-caliber Thermal Expert to lead the technical engagement for our Liquid Cooling Solutions. You will act as a Solution Architect, working directly with Tier-1 ODM clients to integrate our CDUs into high-density AI Rack ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Pre-Sales Technical Consultation:

• Collaborate with Sales to promote Liquid-to-Liquid and Liquid-to-Air CDU solutions.
• Analyze customer rack configurations to calculate required flow rates, pressure drops, and cooling capacity (kW).
• Select the appropriate CDU models and define secondary loop parameters (Pressure/Flow/Temperature) to match the cold plate and manifold impedance.

2. System Integration & On-Site Support:

• Lead the on-site bring-up and commissioning of CDUs at ODM labs or customer data centers.
• Provide hands-on support for hydraulic balancing, coolant filling/draining procedures, and leak detection system setup.

3. Debugging & Issue Resolution:

• Troubleshoot system-level issues such as insufficient flow, pump cavitation, air locks (trapped air), or abnormal pressure drops.
• Work with the FW team to diagnose BMC communication errors (Redfish/Modbus) related to pump control and sensor readings.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis for any thermal incidents during development stages.

4. Product Feedback & Training:

• Act as the bridge between Taiwan ODMs and Product Line, providing feedback on market requirements for future CDU roadmap.
• Conduct technical training for customer engineering teams on proper CDU operation and maintenance. 

Qualifications and Requirements: 

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or Fluid Dynamics.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in thermal management for Servers/Data Centers. Direct experience with Liquid Cooling is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of Fluid Mechanics (P-Q Curves, Flow Resistance, Bernoulli's principle).
  • Familiarity with Data Center infrastructure (Facility Water vs. Technology Cooling System water specs).
  • Experience with thermal simulation tools is a plus.
  • Knowledge of communication protocols (I2C, Modbus, CAN bus) for thermal management is an advantage.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure in ODM environments, and excellent cross-functional communication.
• Language: Native Mandarin; Professional proficiency in English (for technical discussions with Global R&D).
