Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in enterprise cyber security programs.
  • 5 years of experience in working and partnering with software development teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • 5 years of experience with operating systems.
  • Experience using quantitative analysis to inform decisions and proficiency in data analytics.
  • Experience using AI and seek opportunities to use AI/ML technologies to lead improvements across programs.
  • Experience of enterprise security and endpoint security controls.
  • Experience in system administration.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. Responsibilities

  • Partner with engineering, product management and product/client teams to execute risk mitigation projects aligned with Google’s top priorities for corporate endpoint security. Build relationships with key partners and product area stakeholders. Establish communication processes to align on changing priorities, program progress and risks.
  • Use technical judgment to build consensus, manage dependencies, scope deliverables, inform prioritization of work, and drive project execution across teams.
  • Implement project management tools and methodologies for effective execution, setting priorities, tracking progress, and managing dependencies.
  • Develop and drive execution excellence through detailed planning, accountability, and transparency.
  • Track progress of project success metrics and create a communication strategy, establish necessary communication channels, and oversee communication to bring visibility to teams, executives, and stakeholders. Track progress of the features development and detect and investigate trends and blockers.
