職缺描述

About GoFreight

GoFreight is a B2B SaaS platform for freight forwarders, serving customers from SMBs to global enterprises. We are changing how software gets built: people across the company work with AI agents to go from idea to working product. Most of the engineering, from writing code to running tests, happens through AI. Engineers make sure the output is solid before it ships.

The Role

You will be on the team that builds and improves these AI agents. Your job is to make them more capable, more reliable, and more autonomous, so that more people can turn ideas into production software without writing code themselves. The things you build will directly shape how the entire company ships software.

What You'll Do

  • Build and improve the AI agents that power our development workflow. These agents write code, run tests, do code reviews, and fix issues. Your job is to make them better at all of it.
  • Own your projects end-to-end: figure out what to build, build it, evaluate whether it works, ship it.
  • Work directly with the people who use these agents. Understand where they break down, where they are slow, and where they could do more. Then go fix it.
  • Make agents smarter over time. Measure what matters, find the patterns, and improve the system.
  • Stay current with what is happening in AI tooling. New models, new tools, new protocols show up constantly. Try them. If something works better than what we have, bring it in.
  • Write things down. Good documentation means the next person can pick up where you left off.

Why This Role

Most AI engineering roles today still mean fine-tuning models or wiring up RAG pipelines. This is different. You will build agents that do actual software engineering work inside a production SaaS product. Your agents will ship features used by freight forwarders worldwide. The AI tooling space is moving fast, and you will be right in the middle of it.

職務需求

What We're Looking For

You already build with AI. You use tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot as your primary way of getting things done, not as a side experiment. You understand how to guide AI output, spot when it goes wrong, and iterate until it works.

You can write code and reason about code you have never seen. Strong Python skills are a plus since it is our primary backend language, but we care more about your ability to pick up any stack quickly. Show us something you have built.

You understand how LLMs work in practice. Prompt engineering, context engineering, token management, hallucinations, knowing when the model is confidently wrong. You do not need a research background, but you need hands-on experience.

You learn fast and move fast. The AI tooling landscape changes weekly. You pick things up by trying them, not just reading about them. If what you built yesterday is obsolete, you move on without hesitation.

You are self-directed. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and proposing next steps, rather than waiting for a detailed task list. When things break in unexpected ways, you stay with it. You question how things work today and push for better approaches, not just follow the existing process.

You communicate clearly. You can explain what you built and why it matters, to both engineers and non-engineers. Our working environment is bilingual (Chinese-English), and you are comfortable communicating in English.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with agentic workflows and tools (e.g., MCP, CrewAI, Google ADK).
  • Experience with LLM frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar.
  • Familiarity with LLM evaluation and observability tools such as Langfuse or Promptfoo.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Experience building Slack bots, APIs, or internal tools.
  • Personal projects, open-source contributions, or side experiments involving AI agents.
  • Curiosity about logistics or supply chain operations (no prior domain experience required).

How to Apply
