About the RoleWe are looking for a Technical Trainer to join our EUV Training Center in Tainan. In this role, you will deliver high‑quality technical training to customer support and manufacturing engineers, enabling them to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced semiconductor systems.You will play a key role in knowledge transfer between development teams and engineers working in the field. Working closely with global training developers and subject matter experts, you will continuously improve training content and learning experiences.This position combines technical expertise, hands‑on training delivery, and learning facilitation, including classroom, cleanroom, and blended learning environments.Key ResponsibilitiesTraining DeliveryDeliver instructor‑led technical training for engineers at different competency levels:Basic system operationMaintenance and adjustmentsTroubleshooting and diagnosticsApply modern facilitation and didactical techniques to ensure effective knowledge transfer.Prepare and conduct training sessions in classrooms and cleanroom environments.Support onboarding and capability development of new engineers and junior trainers.Training Development ImprovementCollaborate with global training developers and experts (mainly based in the Netherlands and the US) to improve curricula and training materials.Translate feedback and field issues from Customer Support into training content updates.Contribute to the development of blended learning solutions (classroom, hands‑on, digital).Participate in training improvement projects within the Training Center.Learning Facilitation SupportAssess learners’ needs and adapt training delivery accordingly.Create supportive learning environments that encourage participation and knowledge sharing.Manage classroom logistics and learning tools.Act as a coach and sounding board for trainees during and after training where applicable.Continuous Improvement Stakeholder CollaborationCollect and analyze training feedback and evaluation results.Propose and implement improvements to training, processes, and tooling.Maintain close collaboration with stakeholders across CS, Manufacturing, Development Engineering, and Global Support.Stay up to date with technical and industry developments relevant to your expertise area.EducationBachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or science-related field, such as:Electrical EngineeringMechanical EngineeringMechatronicsPhysicsChemistryComputer Scienceor a related disciplineExperienceExperience in technical training delivery, teaching, or learning facilitation.Background in field service, system maintenance, process engineering, or semiconductor manufacturing is strongly preferred.Experience with blended learning or adult education methodologies is a plus.Knowledge of ASML systems or EUV technology is an advantage but not mandatory.Skills CompetenciesStrong verbal and written communication skills in English.Excellent facilitation, coaching, and interpersonal skills.Analytical and structured problem‑solving mindset.Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, learnable content.Well‑organized, proactive, and able to work independently and in teams.Passion for teaching, learning, and continuous improvement.Additional InformationThis is a full-time position currently based in Tainan, Taiwan.In alignment with team and business planning, there is a potential team relocation planned for 2028 or 2029, and the future work location may be adjusted to Linkou, Taiwan. Candidates should be open to this possible change.Willingness to participate in shift-based work, including occasional night and weekend shifts.The evening shift typically runs from 16:00 to 01:00, and rotation occurs approximately once per quarter.Willingness to travel as required for training delivery and global collaboration.Travel may include both domestic and international assignments, with an average of approximately two weeks of travel per year.Training activities may take place in classroom, laboratory, and cleanroom environments, depending on the training content and audience.This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
