What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting the development of responsive, dynamic, and visually engaging web pages using Next.js and Shopify
• Implementing UI components based on design prototypes with guidance from senior team members
• Writing clean, maintainable code following established patterns and best practices
• Assisting in debugging issues and fixing bugs across browsers and devices
• Learning and applying performance, accessibility, and responsive design principles
• Participating in code reviews and iterating based on feedback
• Collaborating with designers and developers to complete assigned tasks
• Asking questions and seeking clarification when requirements are unclear
• Contributing to documentation and keeping work organized

What we need to see:

• 1–2 years of experience in frontend development with a focus on responsive web applications
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend best practices
• Exposure to React or similar frontend frameworks is a plus
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Understanding of responsive design and modern web concepts
• Willingness to learn and follow established development practices
• Attention to detail and commitment to writing clean, readable code
• Ability to take feedback constructively and improve over time
• Good communication skills and willingness to ask questions

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Experience with Next.js in production environments
• Experience with headless CMS platforms like Sanity.io
• Basic knowledge of Shopify or Liquid templating
• Familiarity with Shopify app integrations and e-commerce best practices
• Experience working with REST APIs
• Strong attention to detail in UI implementation
• Experience contributing to codebase improvements (refactoring, abstractions)
• Familiarity with tools like Figma, Slack, Notion, or Loom
• Demonstrated curiosity through side projects or continuous learning

Our interview process consists of three rounds designed to assess both technical capability and team fit. Candidates will progress step-by-step:

1. On-site interview – We ask candidates to attend the first interview in person to better understand mutual fit
2. Assignment assessment – A take-home task to evaluate your problem-solving and implementation approach
3. Co-founders meeting – Final conversation focused on alignment and long-term growth
