ABOUT US

Our client is a Global production house with an award-winning global YouTube channel and media company producing entertaining, culturally driven food and travel content. A fast-paced, creative team with operations in multiple countries, and now looking for a Junior Accountant to help keep their financial records accurate, organized, and compliant.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Junior Accountant will support the COO in day-to-day bookkeeping, expense tracking, and financial planning. This role suits someone detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to grow in an international media environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain and reconcile daily bookkeeping records (QuickBooks / Xero / Google Sheets).
  • Record and categorize company income, expenses, invoices, and payments.
  • Support month-end closing and financial statement preparation.
  • Assist with cashflow tracking, budget updates, and management reports.
  • Help prepare documentation for external accountants (local and international tax filings).
  • Ensure proper organization of receipts, payroll records, and project expenses.
  • Support financial projections and planning for upcoming productions or campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience (internship or junior role acceptable).
  • Strong attention to detail, numeracy, and organization.
  • Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets; experience with accounting software is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of tax compliance (Vietnam and/or US preferred).
  • MUST HAVE good written and verbal English skills.
