Engineering Project Manager (EPM)

Job Summary

As an Engineering Project Manager at Botrista, you will serve as a key liaison across engineering and cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, supply chain, sales, and operations. You will help align engineering requirements, track development progress, and coordinate critical changes across teams and stakeholders.

You will work closely with engineering teams to manage projects across the full product development lifecycle—from concept and prototyping to design, system integration, and validation—ensuring alignment across hardware, software, and system-level components. You will also support software development cycles by coordinating feature/function requirements, tracking release progress, and maintaining visibility into priorities, dependencies, and timelines. You will help connect engineering teams with cross-functional partners and ensure important information, decisions, and timelines are clearly communicated.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multiple engineering projects across hardware, software, and system development.
• Support project planning, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Track progress and help resolve risks, blockers, and dependencies.
• Serve as a key point of coordination between engineering and cross-functional teams, including supply chain, sales, operations, and product teams.
• Ensure requirements, priorities, and timelines are clearly communicated and aligned.
• Support feature development cycles by coordinating sprint planning and tracking release progress.
• Help maintain visibility into priorities, dependencies, and release timelines.
• Maintain project trackers and provide regular status updates.
• Consolidate information across teams and communicate key updates to stakeholders.
• Organize and facilitate project meetings and cross-team syncs.
• Document key decisions, action items, and project updates.
• Help improve project coordination, communication, and visibility across teams.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in project coordination, program management, product development, operations, or similar roles.
• Professional proficiency in both Mandarin and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a cross-regional environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, Confluence, Asana).
• Ability to bring structure and clarity to complex or cross-functional work.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks and timelines.
• Interest or experience in areas such as AI-enabled products, system integration, or startup environments.

Preferred Requirements:

• Engineering or technical degree preferred.
• Experience working with engineering teams across hardware, software, or system development.
• Experience coordinating cross-regional or cross-functional teams.
• Experience or understanding of software development sprint planning.
